ISNHS DAY

  The Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) is one of the most prominent high schools in the Philippines. Every year, the school celebrates its foundation day with great enthusiasm and fervor. After the three-year pandemic, now again there is a joyful celebration in the school. The High School Day of Ilocos Sur is celebrated on March 25, 2013. The theme is "Renewed Commitment in Defying Odds To Transcend Heights of Excellence and Solidarity"  The school is decorated with banderitas in the field and the students will perform the Galaw Pilipinas. One of the highlights of the high school day celebration at ISNHS is the parade. The parade is led by the school's drum and lyre corps, which marches through inside the school.   During Holy Week, Christians recall the events leading up to Jesus’ death by crucifixion and, according to their faith, his Resurrection. A significant occasion on the Christian calendar, Holy Week honors the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For many Christians around the world, it is an opportunity for introspection, confession, and regeneration. The seven-day period known as Holy Week, which begins on Palm Sunday and ends on Easter Sunday, is customarily observed in March or April. I had a workday on Palm Sunday. Due to the fact that there is still school on holy Monday, it is boring. I wanted to take a half-day in the afternoon like many of my classmates did, but perhaps there was something more I needed to do.
